On March 26, 2010, the country’s central bank, Bangladesh Bank initiated a countrywide campaign – “Road Show 2010”. The objective was to make people aware of the funding ability available through Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) program. Additionally, people were also educated on the following issues: |
| |
Agricultural loan along with its easy terms and conditions, |
Foreign remittance through legal channels, |
Anti Money Laundering and Anti Terror Financing |
| |
| |
| |
ONE Bank was a premier partner and participated in the campaign from Teknaf, where it started, and stayed until it ended in Tetulia. Its activities earned immense recognitions and was eulogized by all groups of people. The bank was the only one to successfully make 13 stalls in this journey. Each and every stall was crowded as people had lots of interests and queries for our products. In addition, the bank was the “lead Bank” in Shirajgonj, where it successfully guided other participating institutions.
The bank is gratified as it feels being strongly acquainted by the public; and at the same time, the bank believes that it was able to successfully spread the message of Bangladesh Bank across all levels. The bank thinks that the campaign helped it develop a deeper bond with general public. |
