Citycell recently signed an agreement with One Bank Limited for mobile banking service. Under this agreement, Citycell will act as a facilitator of mobile connectivity and distribution network for ONE Bank mobile banking service. The signing of mobile banking agreement is a milestone in the area of mobile financial services. It has immense potential in Bangladesh where access to traditional banking services is limited especially in the rural areas.

The signing ceremony was held at Citycell Head Office, Mohakhali, Dhaka. Mr. Mehboob Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer of Citycell and Mr. Farman R. Chowdhury, Managing Director of ONE Bank Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Tarikul Hasan, Chief Sales & Distribution Officer, Mr. Sazzad Rahim Chowdhury, Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Iftekhar Matin, General Manager, Marketing of Citycell and Ms. Rozina Aliya Ahmed, SEVP & Head of Marketing, Mr. Adil Raihan, EVP & Head of Liability Marketing & ADC, Mr. Salahuddin Nazmul Huda, SVP & Head of IT, Mr. Rashed Zaman, VP & Branch in Charge, Banani Branch of ONE Bank Limited were also present at the signing ceremony.
