I am extremely pleased to inform you that ONE Bank Limited has been selected by The Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAB) for an award based on the quality of our 2008 year end accounts and reports.

It may be mentioned here that every year ICAB reviews the financials of banks and other entities and based on the quality of the presentations they award the selected institutions for the best Annual Reports. This year ONE bank has been included in the best Annual Report category and accordingly has received a Certificate of Merit under Category I: Financial Sector-Banking.

This is a prestigious award for ONE Bank Limited and I would like to thank the Central Accounts Division, Establishment Division, Board Secretariat/Share Department and all officials who were involved in the creation and publication of our 2008 Annual Report for their dedication and hard work.

This should provide us impetus to excel in the quality and timeliness of our 2009 year-end financials so that we can aim for the highest award in this category.
